How to Wind Perfect Coilgun Coils

I've been working on a coilgun project for a while now. One problem I ran into early on is that for 24ga and smaller wire, it's almost impossible to wind a perfectly flat coil with more than a couple of layers. After much trial and error, I've come up with a method for achieving perfectly flat coils with any number of layers.
